Cleaning a house alone is one of the frustrating things. Your partner is chilling on the couch, kids are playing in their rooms, and you are scrubbing hard to remove carpet stains. So, the best thing you can do is to encourage everyone in your family to assist you in house cleaning chores. Start with easy tasks, such as de-cluttering the living area, doing dishes, making a bed and then assign tasks like mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, etc. Make sure you assign tasks depending on the age and potential of your kids. Inquest finds death of 19-month-old girl at Port Macquarie Base Hospital preventable

 A coronial inquest has found the death of a 19-month-old girl at Port Macquarie Base hospital two years ago could've been prevented. 

In February of 2019, a Sydney family was holidaying in Port Macquarie when their daughter was accidentally bitten on the finger by a black cockatoo after placing her hand inside a bird enclosure at a local wildlife park.

She was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital for treatment, where medical staff decided surgery was appropriate.

NSW dairy farmers back in black after best season in 10 years

 The NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) has released its latest figures on how the dairy industry is travelling and, after some really tough years, dairy farmers are back in the black. 

It has been a miserable period marked by drought, floods, fires and the supermarket price wars that saw milk sold for just $1/litre, but things are looking up for the state's 523 dairy farmers.

Spanish mackerel stock report 'imminent' as stakeholders fear for fishery's future

 Australia's east coast Spanish mackerel fishery has been grossly mismanaged and urgent measures are needed to allow stocks to recover, an experienced fisheries expert has warned.

A preliminary stock assessment released in April estimated the east coast population of the species could be as little as 17 per cent of virgin stocks, well below the sustainable level of 60 per cent.

A Fisheries Queensland spokesman confirmed a peer review has since been completed into the stock assessment but no specific date for its release has been set.
